For the past 5 years EuroManx has focused on providing a locally based operation offering high quality schedules and services dedicated to the Isle of Man.

During this time the employees have worked hard to develop and grow the business but over the last 6 months a number of factors including rising fuel prices and reduced passenger numbers have proved to be insurmountable obstacles to the airline being able to continue to operate.

History of EuroManx

The airline was established on 7 August 2002 and started operations on 19 August 2002. It was established by Allan Keen, managing director of Isle of Man based Woodgate Aviation. It is no relation to Manx Airlines which operated for many years prior to purchase by British Airways. EuroManx initially operated with leased equipment including Beech 1900 and ATR 42 aircraft from Rossair and subsequently Fokker 50's from Denim Air.

History of EuroManx

In September 2004 Corporate Jet Services invested in EuroManx to strengthen its position as the Island's airline and introduce its own aircraft during 2005. With John Seymour as CEO, EuroManx currently operate a Dash 8-201 OE-HBB and a Dash 8-311 OE-HBC.

EuroManx announced on Friday 9th May 2008, that the company was ceasing operations forthwith with no further flights being operated. Manx2.com are now operating up to five flights a day to Belfast City and  four flights a day to Blackpool and the North West
